Exit Re-Entry Visa

Requirements

YOUR IQAMA MUST BE VALID AND YOU MUST APPLY TWO WEEKS BEFORE THE EXPIRY DATE OF YOUR EXIT RE-ENTRY VISA AND.

THE PROCESS ADOPTED FOR EXTENDING THE EXIT RE-ENTRY VISA

For students & accompanying mothers in Canada:

1. The length of stay outside the Kingdom is calculated starting from the date of your departure from the Kingdom.
2. A declaration of enrollment from the school OR university / college must be included.

The consular section can extend your exit re-entry visa for a maximum of 30 days only if your stay outside the Kingdom does not exceed 12 months. If your stay outside the Kingdom exceeds 12 months, your sponsor must obtain an authorization to extend your exit re-entry visa from the proper authorities in Saudi Arabia ( make sure that the authorization has no condition ). You must include a copy of the visa slip with your application.

For applicants on work visa:

1. The length of stay outside the Kingdom is calculated starting from the date of your departure from the Kingdom.
2. For multiple entry visa, it is calculated from the first exit from the Kingdom.

The consular section can extend your exit re-entry visa for a maximum of 30 days only if your stay outside the Kingdom does not exceed 7 months. If your stay outside the Kingdom exceeds 7 months, your sponsor must obtain an authorization to extend your exit re-entry visa from the proper authorities in Saudi Arabia. You must include a copy of the visa slip with your application.

Please submit:

1. Visa application form (Typed out or block letter written), please see “Embassy visa application form (Two Pages)” below.
2. An original AND a photocopy of the applicant’s passport. It must also be valid for at least six months from the application date and include the place of birth and two side by side blank pages.
3. One recent (No more than a month old) photographs (4×6 cm) on a plain white background (write name, signature and stamp date on back).
4. A Copy of:
   
   1. The latest exit re-entry visa.
   2. Applicant’s valid residency permit (iqama).

   Or a print out of the latest exit re-entry visa issued by the passport office TRAVEL SECTION in Saudi Arabia you can visit their website: www.eserve.com.sa/VVSWeb

5. Applicant must obtain a letter from the Saudi sponsor (Kafeel) requesting the extension of the visa and detailing his/her IQAMA (residency) status and relation to sponsor. This letter must be stamped by Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs. (Scanned copy or original, both will work at the moment) (New requirement)
6. Flight Itinerary must be provided with consideration of the following points:
   1. The KSA Embassy has advised that no ticket should be purchased before issuance of the visa.
   2. The KSA Embassy in Ottawa can issue visas that allow travelers to enter KSA by air exclusively. No Entry By Land.
   3. Please ensure that your entry airport is the closest to your sponsor’s location. The port of entry to KSA must be the same or the closest airport to the location of the sponsor. If the sponsor invited the applicant to conduct business/visit in a different city other than the one displayed in the company’s Registration Certificate, the sponsor must provide a letter in Arabic explaining the reason for this. An example can be for conducting business in a another branch/location of the company.
7. Please also include fees payable to A & A Travel & Tours along with your application (see fees and payments table at the bottom of this page).
8. For students & accompanying mothers:
   
   1. A declaration of enrollment from the school, college or university.
   2. Copies of sponsor’s valid residency permit (iqama).
   3. A letter from the parents in KSA addressed to the embassy requesting the extension of their child’s re-entry visa.
9. In case of a work residence:
   
   1. If your length of stay outside the kingdom exceeded 7 months you must obtain an authorization from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the kingdom (include copy of the visa slip).
   2. A fax copy of the letter from the company sponsoring revealing details of years of employment, job title, residency permit issuance and validity.
10. If applicant is applying with a new passport, please make sure to include the old one.
11. Female applicant (if applying without her husband) over 18 must have consent letter from her husband if she is married or notarized letter that she is not married.
12. Government fee about $40 for each month after the expiration date for entry visa.
13. Please submit the second page of Exit/Re-entry visa application form: “NOTIFICATION TO ALL AGENTS AND ALL APPLICANTS”
