Family Or Escort Visa For Family Members Whose Mother or Spouse is a Saudi Citizen

Requirements

A request letter for the issuing of the visa from the Saudi citizen.

Please submit:

1. A completed visa application form.
2. Original and copy of a passport valid for at least six months from the date of the application
3. One recent (No more than a month old) photographs (4×6 cm) on a plain white background (write name, signature and stamp date on back).
4. Proof of relationship (birth certificate revealing both parents’ names.)
   
   Please note that the Saudi consulate in Ottawa would like to inform you that starting May 5, 2016, and for all types of visas that require a proof of relationship to the sponsor (i.e. birth certificate, marriage certificate, etc.), such certificate:

   1. If the certificate is issued from of Canada, please submit one of the following only:
      
      1. Submit the original with a copy for us and we will return the original.
      2. Notarized by a Canadian notary public or a commission of oat, and Authenticated by the Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs.
   2. If Birth and Marriage Certificate from outside Canada(not Saudi or any other arabic country) shoud be:
      
      1. In English or translated to English or Arabic.
      2. Notarized by a Canadian notary public or a commission of oat and Canadian Foreign affairs.
   3. If Birth and Marriage Certificate from Arabic Countries we will accept to see the original with a copy for us and we’ll return the original or a copy stamped from their Embassies in Canada.
   4. If the document is a Saudi Birth or Marriage Certificates are accepted even if it is a copy.
5. Copy of the marriage certificate.
6. Copy of the Saudi Passport & I.D. of the mother or spouse
7. A request letter for the issuing of the visa from the Saudi citizen
8. A letter from the father allowing the child to accompany his mother, if the father is not accompanying them). (Copy of two pieces of identification showing his signature).
9. Flight Itinerary must be provided with consideration of the following points:
   1. The KSA Embassy has advised that no ticket should be purchased before issuance of the visa.
   2. The KSA Embassy in Ottawa can issue visas that allow travelers to enter KSA by air exclusively. No Entry By Land.
   3. Please ensure that your entry airport is the closest to your sponsor’s location. The port of entry to KSA must be the same or the closest airport to the location of the sponsor. If the sponsor invited the applicant to conduct business/visit in a different city other than the one displayed in the company’s Registration Certificate, the sponsor must provide a letter in Arabic explaining the reason for this. An example can be for conducting business in a another branch/location of the company.
10. Female applicant (if applying without her husband) over 18 must have consent letter from her husband if she is married or notarized letter that she is not married.
11. Please submit the second page of Embassy visa application form: “NOTIFICATION TO ALL AGENTS AND ALL APPLICANTS”
